Avondale’s Research Support Librarian offers tailored, one-on-one consultations for PhD and Masters by Research candidates and academic staff engaged in research. These sessions provide specialist support with:

- Systematic and structured review searching
- Navigating discipline-specific databases and research resources
- Referencing and EndNote
- Using the Avondale Research Repository (ACORA)
- Scholarly communication and journal selection
- Research metrics, research visibility, and impact
- Promoting research and tracking citations
- Evaluating emerging research tools and information sources, including GenAI, where relevant to the research process
- Copyright, author rights, publishing agreements, and Creative Commons licensing
Consultations are available online or at Lake Macquarie (Cooranbong) and Sydney (Wahroonga) campuses.
